DGFT amends Export Policy of Textile Raw Material for Masks and Coveralls

The Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has notified the amendment in the Export Policy of textile raw material for masks and coveralls.

The central government notified the amendment in the Notification No. 18 dated July 13, 2020, amending Schedule 2 of the ITCHS Export policy related to the export of textile raw material for masks and coveralls.

The Export Policy before the amendment for export of non-woven fabric for 25-70 GSM was prohibited, and for non-woven fabric other than 25-70 GSM (except the melt-brown category of non-woven fabric) was free.

Now, with the amendment, the export for the non-woven fabric of any GSM except the melt-brown category of non-woven fabric is freely allowed for export.
